Our Story

PLURR Labs is a rave collective founded by Eanna, also known as @emaihearts — a veteran raver dedicated to keeping the spirit of PLURR alive through music, community, creativity, and connection.

The story of PLURR Labs began in September 2025 when Eanna celebrated her 30th birthday by hosting “Eanna’s Dance Celebration (EDC)” in Brooklyn, New York. Inspired by the magic and energy of Electric Daisy Carnival, she recreated the festival experience inside a photo studio alongside her rave family. What started as a birthday celebration quickly became something much bigger. The overwhelming love and support from friends and attendees revealed a vision: creating safe, inclusive rave experiences where everyone could feel seen, welcomed, and free to express themselves.

That “happy accident” inspired Eanna to take the next step.

Soon after, she began planning “Rave to the Grave,” the first official paid event held in the same Brooklyn studio. The event was an immersive experiment that combined everything she loved about rave culture: electronic dance music, tattooing, kandi stations, tarot readings, flow toys & sessions, ball pits, claw machines, lasers, and a platform for raver-owned businesses to showcase their creativity.

Supported by the incredible Zennies x Gennies family, the event came together organically, without paid ads or major promotion. Expectations were modest, but the response was overwhelming. “Rave to the Grave” sold out completely and featured six headliners who helped create an unforgettable first experience for the community.

After the success of that event, Eanna began brainstorming names for the movement she was building — eventually landing on PLURR Labs.

The meaning behind PLURR Labs is simple but powerful: a laboratory of PLURR — Peace, Love, Unity, Respect, and Responsibility — where upcoming DJs, artists, performers, and raver-owned businesses can be empowered with opportunities, visibility, and a space to shine within the growing electronic music scene.

The official PLURR Labs Instagram launched alongside “Winter Wubland,” the collective’s first event hosted at Eris Evolution back in December of 2025 — an underground basement venue designed to transport ravers back to the spirit of 90s rave culture, complete with neon-painted walls, booming subwoofers, immersive vibes, and even a cuddle puddle space that brought the community together in true PLURR fashion. The lineup was stacked, and the night became even more unforgettable when their good friend Switchblades surprised the crowd with a secret set that electrified the entire room.

And the rest is history.

Today, PLURR Labs continues its mission to keep PLURR culture alive through events and experiences centered around inclusivity, creativity, self-expression, and community. Every event is built with intention: to teach, spread, and embody PLURR everywhere we go and in everything we do — while continuing to grow our rave family with every soul we meet.

PLURR Labs has provided a platform for more than 50 local DJs across the Tri-State area and Dallas, Texas, along with over 30 raver-owned businesses that have become part of the growing PLURR Labs family. As the collective continues to evolve, the mission remains the same: to create more opportunities, more unforgettable experiences, and an even stronger community in the events still to come.
